Will Refreshed Supply Bloodbath be vendor agnostic and reference a public master server? Will GOG users be able to play against Steam users?

I posed the question on the Nightdive discord server:
Will Refreshed Supply Bloodbath have crossplay between Steam and GOG? Or will they still be siloed?
Krash, a moderator there stated:
Refreshed should be using PlayFab for the crossplay, so as long as you start the game via Galaxy it should let you connect to your friends on other platforms without jumping through any hoops or entering IPs
