Every stage and even the title-screen is like this...
Running on , admittedly , a brick.
There's OpenGL support up to 3.1 and version 12 of DirectX (which is the renderer I am using , switching to anything else crashes).
Any advice would be really great , thanx.

It's a known problem. You are trying to run the game on an old integrated Intel card. These are not supported.

Yeaa... it seems to be the problem with a lot of games running with my Celeron B820
