When I try to run the game a message shows up, it says BLAZBLUE -CALAMITY TRIGGER stopped working.
This forces the game to shut down, I don't know what to do, I tryed with every compatibility mode, I tryed to run the program as administrator, nothing works.

Lets start with some useful information. What can you tell us about the computer? Which version of Windows is it? What does the assert text file say? The assert file should be found in C:\GOG Games\BlazBlue - Calamity Trigger

The assert file looks normal... or at least the same as mine does. Unfortunately, the error message doesn't really provide much information.

I suppose the next place to look is graphics. What kind of graphics are you using? Intel? AMD? NVIDIA? Are the drivers up to date?

It is AMD, I am checking right now if it is up to date.
I already checked, the drivers are up to date.

LeonardoCornejo: It is AMD
Well, I'm using AMD graphics as well (Catalyst 13.4) and not had any trouble with it (excluding the fact that my card is old). I did check the compatibility settings on my install. Disable gpu scaling on Hi-DPI displays was set as well as Run as Adminisitrator. Perhaps try setting those and running it again.

Didn't work.

Then I would contact support. Be sure to provide the assert file since it's the only log file I know of for the game. I would also run dxdiag, save the report and attach that as well. The dxdiag report will include a lot of important information that might help them pinpoint the problem. I'm sorry I haven't been of much help!

Well, you tryed to help, and for me that is enough.
There is something even more important now.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Because if two or more persons experience this, cross analyzing the situations in their computers could help find a solution.

Disable the UAC did not work?

Edit:

It seems you have to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable.

Good luck, bro.
Unfortunately it didn't work, I am close to ask for the guarantee :(

Just checked the Steam forums, it seems many users experience this, some of them find no solution to their issue, and some of the possible solutions are not worth trying (for example deleting the graphic card codecs), it seems the problem is the game itself.

I prefer to avoid cursing, but I am so mad right no that I can only sat this.

Chinga tu madre Arc System Works, you guys released a half baked game with an unfixable issue. And for the guys at GOG, they better find a way to fix this in 20 days or give me a refund.

I realy like GOG, and I think they are awesome, but maybe they should check if the game has caused issues to players who bought it at other virtual stores before signing the deal, I mean, seriously, If this kind of issues are not unusual for the competitors what would make it different here. I am very dissapointed at Arc System Works for this, and I hold them responsible for this now.
