Is the manual just the CD insert or is there a separate manual for the game?

For the Spanish version, it was embedded in the CD insert. As I see from the extra content, the English, French and Polish versions seem a separate booklet included in the CD insert, but I am not sure.

Besides, I have found another version. An interactive version of the manual (hlp format) that was included in the original CDs. I have converted it to pdf, and I have asked customer support if it is possible to upload it also to the extra content.

PraetorianWolfie: Hey, check it out, the English manual is now replaced with a higher quality scan!
It is available via the game extras/goodies in place of the old one. :)
Awesome! Thank you. Is it the one you sent them? It looks great.

It is indeed that one.
I've just noticed though that when installing the game, the previous version of the manual (old scan) is also installed in the game folder and that's the one that is displayed from GOG Galaxy (1.2.x) if you go to "More..."->"Other"->"Manual".

I'll probably create a support ticket for this later on.
Thanks you, everyone who argued in my thread, and thanks to you who made a new manual available to GOG, and thank you PraetorianWolfie for pointing out that it was indeed updated with the new one!

Even though I wasn't really arguing for the new scan (I am happy they did it of course) I'm glad you got what you wanted! It's such a great game it does deserve to have high quality goodies. I am also impressed GoG got on that pretty quickly, that's why I continue to buy games here over some other large distributors.

FYI. The support team accepted also to publish the Spanish version of the manual, that I sent to them. So, it should be available in the following days/weeks in the extra content of the game.
This appeared today in my twitter feed:
https://www.elcondensadordefluzo.com/2020/01/blade-runner-pc-cd-virgin-interactive.html

The page contains scans of a version of the Spanish box, the CD covers and the handbook manual in both Spanish and Portuguese.

Thanks a lot. That seems the Virgin Interactive version (a premium box pack).
I have the Dinamic Multimedia version (worse than the Virgin one, a cardboard CD cover pack). You can find the covers and the interactive manual (from an .hlp file included in the CD's) here:

Oh, that's actually pretty cool. I don't think I've seen the T-posing models elsewhere, not as many as in the interactive manual you uploaded.

Ok, thanks a lot. I didn't know that in fact it contained original material that was not shown in other versions. I hope the support team finds it interesting and finally they publish it. At the moment, it remains unpublished in the official game.
Regarding the version you published in the forum "Virgin Interactive", I was thinking to snapshot the complete manual and convert it in .pdf to publish it. I do not know if this is legal. I will do it privately and if it is possible, I could ask also to publish it officially in the game.

Recently, I've been at my parent's home, and found some time to scan and re-scan some of the Blade Runner booklets that I have in the boxed (English) versions of the game that I own.

I've sent these to the GOG team and hopefully they'll include them with the game as extras.
The new (English) scanned booklets were added yesterday in the GOG release.
These are:
- A re-scanned version of the English manual (booklet) from the UK boxed release (optimized for quality, size and compatibility with older versions of PDF readers).
- A alternative version of the English manual (booklet) which largely has the same content as the above, but is colored and with a different layout (also does not have the EPSER spelling error). It was part of the US and East Asia boxed release(s) as far as I know (I own the East Asia only release and the US release)
- A short "Behind the Scenes" booklet which was part of the US/East Asia boxed releases too.

These are my scans that I did (and re-did) only a few weeks ago, from my own boxed versions of the game. It took me quite a while to scan them, in as optimal conditions as possible, and then process the images -- mostly to isolate the pages and correct the skewed scans.

I hope you enjoy them!
