So I bought and downloaded Blackwell Epiphany for Mac on the GOG Galaxy app, and when I go to press play the app just crashes right away. It doesn't open at all. Any suggestions?

Hi marr_lizz,

Do you run the latest version of macOS?

Unfortunately, there is a problem with macOS 10.13 High Sierra - games using Wineskin, such as Blackwell series might have stopped working with this update. We are working on addressing the issue but there is no ETA when this work will be done.

In meanwhile, here's a workaround that you might try: http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/tiki-view_blog_post.php?postId=87

Is there any update on this issue?
HI this issue it seems is still unresolved?

Running Mac OSX High Sierra 10.13.5

I had the same problem with ALL the Blackwell games, but somehow got each of the others to run using your suggested workaround (disable autodetect in Wineskin).

However no such luck with Blackwell Epiphany - which I paid full price for I might add.

Will I be able to play this game or do I need to request a refund?

I'm having the same problem :(
I'm having the same issue with Blackwell Epiphany; the game doesn't launch. I'm using Mac OS 10.14.1.
Also this marvelous game does not working under macOS Mojave. Such a pity! :-(

Same issue here, still not working. In fact, any older Wadjet Eye game using Wineskin is not working :/
Having the same issue. Would really like to play these games I purchased.
For those having issues on recent MacOS versions. Go to the install location, right click the app icon, select "Show Package Contents". Navigate through Contents --> Resources --> game, and right click again and "Show Package Contents".

Now start the app called "Wineskin". Select "Set screen options" and disable "Auto detect GPU". Click "Done", click "Quit".

The app will start now, even on Mojave. (Tested both Legacy and Epiphany.) This is also a usable workaround for many Wineskin wrapped games on GOG.

Just tried getting these games working today, I've gotten through this suggestion navigating from the install location but when I go into Resources, I don't see anything close to something called 'game'. Any ideas on what this could mean?
