I'm trying to visit Susan Lee in the hospital. I got Alexander Davenport's name but when I try to give it to the guard Rosa says "I can't use that, that's a boy's name!". Apparently she's meant to just say "Alex Davenport", but I can't find anyway to coerce her into that logical leap.

This is the second time I've had to turn to the forums for help with a glitch like this after only a few hours of play. It's honestly getting pretty frustrating, especially since this is such an enjoyable game when it works. Any help appreciated.

I think you get it down to just "Alex" by combining the full name with the RA's name... the logical step there is that since the RA got placed incorrectly due to having a unisex name, Rosa can take advantage of that as well.

Yes, it's kinda strange, but you should really get into the habit of combining EVERYTHING in your notebook every time something new is added. It will help a lot in situations like these (where YOU know what to do but your character might not).
Yeah, you need to combine the notes in your notebook.. Even when it's obvious :p

This is fixed in later games...
I'm having the same problem but unfortunately combining Alexander Davenport and Adrian doesn't do anything. Rosa just says something to the effect of "I think they belong together but I don't see how" and I never get Alex Davenport.
okay, solved this one myself. You have to talk to the R.A. Adrian and ask him about Adrian. You mention that he's an R.A. on a girls only floor and tells you it was a mix-up as they thought Adrian was a girls name.

Just wanted to say thanks for that. Lucky my computer tower's heavy, or I'd have flipped this whole desk in a rage.

I mean, God, hasn't this woman ever played "Ace Attorney: Justice for All?"
