landofozGirl: I can't get Day 1 to end. I only have 2 locations I can go to - the Hospital and the Apartment. I have written the article, read all the notes, looked at the 3 pictures I have, talked to Nishanti and fed the dog (over and over), talked to the doctor about the headaches.

At the apt the photo on the TV glowed but Joey didn't appear and there is nothing left to do that I can find.

I have read the Day 1 walkthru and see nothing I have missed so figured someone might have an idea. Maybe I should start over?

SOLVED: More or less. I ended up replaying and this time Joey showed up as expected. Not sure what caused that hiccup but I reloaded earlier games and replayed and still he was a "no show" so the only solution was to start again.

Magnitus: Got the game for my mother last year. She experienced the same problem you did. It was a major disappointment as she's not much of a gamer and this series was one of the few I thought might be right up her alley. I was really hoping she might get into some of the adventure games, but this turned out to be a buggy lousy introduction.

I tried with her savegame and couldn't resolve it. I watched some walkthroughs very carefully to make it I hadn't missed anything. Then, I started a new game from scratch on my machine and somehow got past that point. She played some more and the game got "stuck" somewhere else. At that point, she gave up on it.

Magnitus: Yeah, it was weird. I played the entire series without a problem, and then, I get the bundle for my ma and she gets this.

Maybe it was introduced in the latter patch or something or maybe it was just ill luck.

Either way, given the game was released some time ago and that the bug is not systematic on each play through, I'm guessing it's unlikely to get fixed.
