I find the shop page for Complete Edition Upgrade a bit unclear. It does say that "Challenge Vault DLC requires the GOG Galaxy client to play and is supported only on Windows and OSX operating systems", which is fine and about as straight as can be, but what is the Challenge Vault DLC?
I assume the fluff, like soundtrack, artwork, etc. are available no matter what, but how much of the Complete Edition Upgrade do I miss out on if I don't want to use the Galaxy client? Are all the 130 levels for Galaxy only, or just some of them?

The Challenge Vault is our special multiplayer mode. To be able to join servers you need to authenticate yourself using GOG Galaxy. That's why the Challenge Vault is disabled for Linux - because GOG is not providing libraries for Linux for now, so we can't authenticate your account on our servers.

So we limit it to Windows / Mac - where the GOG Galaxy app is available. Challenge Vault DLC is really only about the selecting your favorite character and beat the records. You can enter the Challenge Vault in menu and experience a new level each week and get yourself to 1st place with the fastest speedrun!

The Challenge Vault has over 10 own original levels itself and they are not counted in "130 levels" we use to promote the game. You don't need Galaxy in order to access all 130 levels! :)

We would never limit /or/ remove gameplay elements somehow for the players which don't want to use Galaxy.

Hopefully it's clear now :).
