I have a low tolerance of voice acting that is not good and I found having the speech on was annoying. This is of course also because I played the game that way before but since there is nothing in the voice acting (from what I've heard so far) that adds to the game, you would likely be better off by turning it off too. The voices that are used are not horrible but they are not good either and just makes the characters sound more silly.

If you don't like reading dialogues as text and have no problem with most voice acting in computer games you should probably keep the voice on, otherwise it will be better for you to turn it off.
There is actually option to turn voices off and enable text.
Yes, that was what I meant .

I guess I could have explained it more clearly. Thank you anyway. :-)
Sorry it was my fault i didn't read it well enough, on the other hand i find the voice acting in this game pretty good compared to many other adventure games.

I've heard a lot of games with atrocious voice acting and this isn't atrocious, it is just slightly bad. For me it is a lot better to read the text than to hear these voices that I can't take seriously. Thankfully we have the option to choose between them or even have both enabled at the same time.

I always play this game with the voices. Robert and Joey's sarcasm wouldn't be the same without it.

The voice acting was also pretty good for a game of this age. You could hear that they hired professionals instead of doing it themselves (and giving a result like Dragonsphere).
Actually personally I like the voices in the game, can't really imagine playing it without them.

That's right usually but I feel it's less when I play without sounds.

...you do realize that the "voices you can't take seriously" are probabaly just certain British regional accents, right?
