So, here's what I did...

Installed BSG through Galaxy, startet the game. Got solid 30 FPS, but the intro video doesn't play, no voiceover, yet music and subtitles are fine while the screen is black - at the end, the last few seconds of video played, zooming onto the station. I saw the intro on YT by now.

I didn't play the game yet, just wanted to check if it's running. So I quit, and quit Galaxy, too.

Later, I wanted to play - I started Galaxy, and noticed the game displaying "ready to install" instead of play. It was still listed on the left, though... so, I tried to import the folder. "No game found".

Now, it's stuck. It's not in the list any more, and the game page says "ready to install", "unknown version", and has everything grayed out - no uninstall, no import folder, no install - I'm utterly stuck.

Oh yeah, and as seen with Fallout 2 in the list down there, Galaxy has the habit of just "eating" random game icons. They only appear once I click on them. That's been going on for quite a while, 2 years maybe. (Affected right now: Fallout2, Human fall flat, Morrowind, Assault on Athena, Wing Commander.)

TF's going on here...? Halp?
Plz fix kthnx.

It would probably serve you better to file a ticket with support. GOG staff rarely check the forums.

You would likely be better served by downloading the game manually through a web browser and installing it independent of the Galaxy client. Additionally, the game can be uninstalled through the Windows "Programs & Features" in the control panel.

I haven't seen this personally. Do you have Galaxy installed on your C drive or a different drive?
Have you tried uninstalling Galaxy completely, downloading it again at re-download and install BSG again.
(You could also copy the games directly for Galaxy, and then scan for it on the fresh install. This way you won't have to download all your games again).

It's been a while now, and I installed it on my new system, where Galaxy is on D:\. On my old system, where it is on C:\, the problem still occurs (I think). But, since the game didn't run with proper FPS there, it's gone the route all of my more performance intensive games took - onto my new (desk) system. There, the problem never occurred.

I didn't uninstall Galaxy, because I still have a ton of games installed on my old (mobile) system and some are modded. Importing them in the past has caused the verify to either not detect the game, or "repair" the mods away - so I'd rather not go through that procedure again. I'd have to backup-copy ~500 GB of games to be on the safe side before I'd try anything like that.

I did, however, re-install BSG several times, to no avail. If reinstalling Galaxy is the only option to fix it, I'd rather download the installer and not have it in Galaxy for the old mobile system, then. Just for when I'm on the go, and still want to play some sweet BSG, despite the lack of frames.

On that topic - since I have to copy the BSG saves over by hand to continue my game, where can I find them saves...?

And, regarding Galaxy - seemingly random icons are still missing across both systems. And always for the same games, on both.

The saves are located C:\Users\[Your Username\Documents\Black Lab Games\BSG, just copy the campaign.bsgsave into this folder.

Thanks,
