TheDudeLebowski: Update: Instead of fighting the Wolf clan, I re-loaded Serpentholm and chose to attack the Lotus. The game plays fine after that without the need of mods or patches. I've completed it with no problems.

Searching YouTube for the video at the end of the Wolf mission, though :(
