Hey

Are the higher resolutions broken in BI 3? changing to 800 or 1024 doesn't seem to change anything. Windows 95 forcing 640x320 atleast brings full screen but leaves the only other res option available at 320. Is there any way to give this game the mighty 1024 resolution??

Oh and is there any way to kill the obnoxious video what starts when you leave the game?

The clip's name is SDI\DATA\AVI\API997.avi. Just replace it with this one:

I didn't have luck with resolutions lower than 640x480 (some videos were displayed in black screen, only
sounds/voices). The easiest way to achieve that resolution is the 640x80 compatibility mode.

If you want to play around with other resolutions, you might like to use a tool called Display Changer:

Start the game with a bat file like this:
@echo off
dccmd.exe -width=1024 -height=768 ".\SDI\SDI_1R.EXE"
exit
Instead of a download from an unknown source, use the api980.avi inside the games videos folder. It´s an empty placeholder already and does the job. Just replace any unwanted videos whit that file. (create a copy and rename it..)

I did exactly this and it worked great, i did have to go through the video files a bit to figure out which ones to replace, took about 10 minutes but all the opening/ending videos are gone. Thx for the help. For anyone looking for this fix just do what n8mahr suggested.
