Seriously, how could the game be first available on Warez websites before legal platforms?

Even on Steam the game is now available, and as usual, GoG users are the last to receive the episodes.

I have to admit, I'm also disappointed by this. I used to buy these Telltale episodic games on PlayStation, but abandoned the platform in favor of PC because I was sick of PlayStation's unreliable update times; I never knew when I'd actually be able to download and play the latest episodes. And now I'm having the exact same issue here on GOG? As much as I want to support a DRM free platform, I already left PlayStation to get away from sitting around wondering when I could download my games instead of actually playing them.

I see that Telltale sells the games directly from their own website, maybe I'll try that next time.

I prefer GoG for the DRM free aspect too. However I am sick of waiting, I have joined the dark side for this time ^^

I got up early just so I could have the game download while I go out and shop. This is a bit of a letdown :(
Still no game download, and no word from anyone as to why. This is the random download availablity of PlayStation combined with the total lack of customer service of Steam. I definitely won't be coming back here for my next purchase.
It would definitely be nice if we got some word from the staff about it being delayed. Even if the staff doesn't know why, all they need to say is "We're currently investigating the reason why this release will be delayed. We're sorry for this inconvenience".

I wasted a whole day just waiting for that download button to go live. :/
I think it's just Telltale not taking GOG seriously, and its not like GOG can just tell them they won't host their games because of that attitude. I still will keep buying Telltale and other games on GOG.
I contacted with GOG support and I got an answer: ,,Hello,
Unfortunately we were unable to release Batman yet and are still working on releasing it as soon as possible, but I am afraid we don't have any ETA yet.
If you do not wish to wait anymore, I can offer you a full cash refund so you can buy the game somewhere else.
I apologise for the inconvenience.''

Well I wouldn't say that... it's in the Windows Store already, and there is no damn way they get more sales there than here at GOG. It's been out there for a day or two now and not one single review has been written.

At this point, I don't much care if it's Telltale or GOG's fault why the game isn't available. What I do know for certain is it's GOG's fault they aren't communicating with customers. We shouldn't have to reach out to support to get answers, they should have made a public announcement or sent out an e-mail to everyone who had already purchased it. And what about when the game finally goes live? Are we going to be left to keep checking the store on our own to see if we can finally download it?
I think people is overreacting, they give a refound to anyone that don't want to wait. Technical issues can happen, and anyone that works in IT or similar understands this. For what concerns me, I'm waiting and menwhile replaying the previous chapter, just to have a fresh save. Peace and have fun

Since I have been purchasing telltale games on GoG, I have never seen a season or an episode released on time (with sometimes a delay of several days xD)!

Still better to use GoG than the Telltale platform or Steam.

The annoying thing is that this problem is recurring =/

I understand issues can happen. That doesn't excuse the failure to communicate that an issue has happened.
I contacted Telltale's support and got a better answer. They couldn't disclose when the release date will be but we can check here for when it is. telltale.com/support/article/bat2-ep1-releasedate/ Sadly GoG is the only platform that is Coming Soon(not including Mac version) :/
Finally

By which I mean it's finally available to download. Gogogo!
