Is there any date for when the game is to be released? It looks so promising as fantastic and mythical.

Thank you. Liked the video and subscribed to the channel.

Liked the art of the game a lot. Felt very visually realistic, and at the same time, out of this world. Feeling vibes of artists Brian Froud ('Labyrinth', 'Dark Crystal'), Tony DiTerlizzi (D&D 2nd edition) and Elder Scrolls' 'Morrowind'. Probably with a little of the comics 'Elf Quest', maybe?

The music sounds great from what I heard in the videos. When combined with the visuals, gives little moods of 'Gord' and 'Bard's Tale IV'. This last one probably one of my favorite fantasy game soundtracks (on par with 'Age of Conan' – different genre, but also sublime).

Can't almost wait for the release. 'Almost'' because of the reason below. ^_^

As a coincidence I have 'Serpent of the Staglands' in my basket – ready to buy – for a few days now. Just waiting to do some math with other games I'm trying to purchase. But 'Staglands' was already decided on my mind. Now, because of the link between the two games, doubly so. It was really a surprise. Will buy and play 'Staglands' before the game comes out.

But I do have another question, if you don't mind:

The GoG page indicates that I can import 'Staglands' gameplay to 'Banquet'. Does it refer to the party or the decisions I'll make in the world? I believe to be the second, because I don't think the characters races will be the same.

Thank you once again for your attention.

P.S.: That 'Island of Bxnes'... It looks cool. Is it not also for PC? Can't find it on GoG.

Thank you, you're correct on the inspiration, Dark Crystal and Labyrinth helped shape ideas for how things in the world look and feel.

That's so kind of you to get Serpent! It is a lot more demanding to play than Banquet, there's a demo on the game's website you can check out first if you wanted to see what it's like:

If you do we usually try to always include it in all the sales on GoG.

The data imported from Serpent in the Staglands includes decisions and characters used, but it certainly isn't necessary, more just some special rewards and keeping a continuity in your version of the world. There's a sizable passage of time between the two games, so it's more peripheral.

haha thank you! Isle of Bxnes was one of our first projects Hannah and I made, kind of an arcade arpg. It was for mobile - iPhones, Androids and the Kindle at the time, but it hasn't been on the market for the last decade. It's definitely on our radar to make a new version of this for computers, maybe with the Banquet visuals.

First of all, sorry for the delayed response. I was meant to reply earlier but found some errors in my Windows DLL files that led to repair Windows, then reset Windows, and then a new clean install of Windows. All seems good now, although I'm still in the process of reorganizing and updating the whole enchilada.

I already bought and installed 'Serpent' but didn't managed to play it. It was right before discovering the OS problems and the necessary purge. I'm in the process of installing all of my games now. Didn't need to try the demo. I know that want to have it in my library.

I watched some videos of 'Banquet' and did a little research on 'Serpents' on Wikipedia and Mobygames. Great praise for making these products with such a small team. Perhaps 'Serpent''s page on Wikipedia should be updated. It mentions an update for the game, that I believe is what became to be 'Banquet' (a game of its own).

Now – sorry to keep nagging –, a question about both the games' engine:

For what I understand, 'Serpent' was made with Unity. I presume 'Banquet' will be using the same. I discovered (right before my OS purge) that there's seem to be a security problem with the Unity engine, recently discovered. Is this affecting any or both of the games?

https://www.pcgamer.com/hardware/unity-has-found-a-security-vulnerability-that-has-sat-dormant-for-almost-a-decade-take-immediate-action-to-protect-your-games-and-apps/

Thank you for your attention.

Thank you for getting Serpent! I hope your OS purge went as well as it could, that can be stressful.

Not nagging at all! Both Serpent and Banquet are free of that security issue. Serpent's latest update is still using an older version of the Unity engine prior to when that security update was needed. Banquet had already been updated to the newest version of the engine with their fix in place.
Thank you very much for the replies and attention. Looking forward for the game's launch. But don't mind to delay if it'll need to be any more polished, of course. ^_^
