Is there even any place? I've searched all over but haven't been able to find any. I would just torrent it at this point but I don't have that great of a history with getting the things to work.

Never mind. I found out you can just get it from the serials. Could the mods kindly lock this topic now.

You also get the original editions for free now if you buy the enhanced edition.

"Free"? Hardly. You pay for a product to get another that should be available on its own. Nothing is free.

Let's say that it's included in the EE version :)
Even though it's not obvious. I've just realized it this morning.

To get from here you have to spend over £30.

If you have a DVD drive in the UK the 4 in 1 boxset (2 games, 2 expansions) is £6.50 delivered. Your country may vary.

The "force you to pay several times the going rate for the Enhanced version just to get the original version" goes against the spirit of the GOG philosophy however it's not the GOG site's decision.

Yeah if you pay 3 times more than the originals used to cost, sure. + You have to pay for the soundtrack now too. That one was included with the originals before Beamdog decided to be "customer friendly". Now the soundtrack costs as much as the game with the soundtrack included used to cost.

Naw. It isn't free.
One place would be amazon.com for about $13.00 for BG2 and the expansion. Try also e-bay (that's where I bought the collectors editions last year.). Definitely worth the time and money for this fabulous classic! It is better than EE, save for the Bag of Holding from the Hexxat quest, but even that item is definitely not needed.

E.g. here: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_9_8?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=baldur%27s+gate+2&sprefix=baldur%27s%2Caps%2C232&crid=180377HF3P01F

Or search for baldur's gate 4-in-1 box set
