I'm using a Mac with with OS 10.8 here. I have a bunch of old save-games from when I was playing BG2 through Wine. Now I've downloaded the Mac version of BG2 and I'm trying to copy them into the game so I can load and play them.

Well, I have no idea how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The game's savegame location on Mac should be:
~/Library/Application Support/GOG.com/Baldur's Gate 2/Save

Copy-paste the saves there.
