Well, I am playing BG for second time after so many years, I play the game for the "rpg" values, so this time I am using an evil character as in the past I used a good one, I am with Montaron and Xzar, instead of the good guys, but I dont kick out other NPCs just for being "good" so Jaheira and Khalid are still with me. I play like I need to have a reason to kick them out, I like to see how the game develops in difficulty taking the "right" decisions of your aligment instead of searching the most powerful characters, or more convinient ones. For me it´s much more funny like this.

I did things I never tried years ago as a good character, I killed Minsc because he get angry when I refuse to help him to save the black magician woman, cant remember her name, and he attacked me.

So I dont mind that Khalid or Jaheira start to fight with Montaron and Xzar and kill each other, it would be in fact a "rpg" reason to let them go and pick up other characters. But the problem and I had this problem with BG TUTU two times already, is that they start to chat and then, several characters of the group stay in "blue" circles instead of red or green, and they not fight each other, they get there just stuck...

How I can solve this? Anyway with the same problem? I know I could simply find other characters with same alignment, but I really want they kill each other...

Thanks!

J.

Couldn't you just manually order Montaron and Xzar (assuming you want them to be the ones to stay in your party, and who your PC will side with if anyone) to attack Khalid and Jahiera? Just click on the weapon icon at the bottom before clicking on the characters.
No I can´t! :(

Once they start the "fight" dialogue they still are on my party, all them, but I cannot control anything, not even talk with them. I tried to remove them from party and "hire" them again, and still the same problem :(

Depends on how you are playing Evil. If you are playing as someone out for power and won't hesitate to do it regardless of the consequences, you could always "let" Xzar and Montaran slit their throats while they sleep. If you are going more for an Evil character that tries to not screw over their team as a rule to earn a reputation for being an otherwise trustworthy criminal, things get more tricky; personally, I'd recommend killing them after they have left and act as if they just caught on to you stealing (or whatever Evil stuff you have been doing that they haven't noticed right away), and have decided that it's the last straw, and that you had to kill them in order to keep them from getting you locked up. Mechanics wise, killing them once they have left is easy; just double click to select your weapon of choice, then click on them, or alternatively double click on the group command to attack and target them. You will know you have done it right if your default cursor now looks like a sword.

Hmm. Do you have a recent save? That sounds like a bug; a reload should fix it. If it doesn't for some reason, then you can always attack them shortly after the save point, and pretend that the conversation's jjust triggered. You know what it involves since you've seen it, so you wouldn't exactly be losing much.

No, it's not a bug, it's the way it's supposed to be. During inter-party hostilities, the antagonists are merely made unselectable, not removed from the party. Here is an actual script example from the initiation of Jaheira / Montaron hostility:

IF
UnselectableVariable(0)
See("Montaron")
Global("Xzarfight","GLOBAL",1)
THEN
RESPONSE #100
MakeUnselectable(5000)
END

I think he's saying that they then aren't attacking each other, though, but are just standing there. Based on my (limited) knowledge, that sounds like a script has broken somewhere along the line.

That's possible, but if it's the case, he/she should really be taking this to the TuTu forums, not here -- general GOG users can't directly identify (or fix) bugs.
Yeah! exactly! is like the script is stuck! they become unselectable, the music changes for battle, but... NOTHING HAPPENS, they just stay there...

Well I could do some "killing" by myself as some of you recommend, but is a pity as I am trying to play evil with not very bad consequences to me. In the "good will" heavily controlled Baldurs Gate game world is pretty complicated being really evil, you got guards all the time there to punish you and make things very hard. So I am playing like "I kill only people that touch my balls, and better if nobody see it" lol, and for now Jaheira and Khalid only had problems with Montaron and Xzar, not my main character, so of course is a game, and I could just prettend something, and probably if the bug triggers again I will do it, but it´s a pitty because I found interesting to wait and see who kills each other without my direct intervention.

I was pretty curious about this, since when I first played the Baldur´s Gate 1 years ago, my character was true neutral, and I finish playing with all the good people. Never seen them arguing. But seems the script is bugged :(

I know this is almost 2 years later, but I am also playing a tutu game with the tweak mod as well and I had the fight dialog start and then only Montaron was frozen. I couldn't select him and he wouldn't talk to me. I was on the 2nd floor of the FAI and went downstairs and tried to leave the inn, but it was telling me I had to have my whole party (at this point his picture was in my group list but greyed out--so was his inventoryand record screens). I went back upstairs and tried to get him back in the party but he was no longer even there. So I just reformed the party and booted him out. From what I have read, I am now in a totally unique situation of only having Xzar! I have read that if you boot one their buddy always goes, too. Heading to Nashkel so it'll be interesting to see what happens! Will they still fight? Will I be able to keep him indefinitely with Khalil and Jaheira? Only time will tell...

What you are describing is death while outside your party, which means that the game doesn't recognise him as having been added back in when you tried to leave.

Regarding the inter-party hostility, Jaheira will not tolerate Xzar in the party for long -- she would tolerate Montaron, but not Xzar because he is a Zhentarim. It is Jaheira that will initiate a fight eventually, not the other way around.

He didn't die though, he was standing right there. He and Khalid started their bickering and then they stopped before actually fighting. I could go over and try to talk to him, but it just said in red the he wasn't speaking to me. Obviously a glitch of some sorts.

You have mods installed. It could be anything.
