Is it possible to start BG2 EE with items from BG1 EE + ToSC & SoD? I have tried to enter inventory before opening talk with Irenicus, but it is not possible?

I have spend a lot of time to play BG EE and "new" DLC - it would be horrible if it would not be possible - want to use my stuff from BG1 - I have got all special bags, books modyfing stats ect :(

It's not possible to import all of your equipment. Only 3 items cross over from BG1 to BG2. Those items are from this list. Two from that list and (if kept) the Golden Pantaloons.

Remember, you start off captured and in prison. Why would you have all of your gear?

I do not know a way to import with items but you may want to consider EE Keeper, a much faster way to do that and more. By trying to import a character with items to BG2, you are cheating anyways so you might as well go for the easier method.

Because the contract forbade Beamdog from altering the status quo of both games' content. They were only allowed to add their own.

You mention the stat tomes - if you gave your PC those bonuses and imported him/her, they should import into BG2. Total XP and levels don’t, from what I’ve seen. Now if you’ve lugged them all through BG1 hoping to finally use them in BG2, you’ll have to cheat them back in. I often give the 3 WIS tomes to Jaheira in BG1 and end up cheating her stats back up in BG2. I feel justified in doing so, as for some reason that 17 WIS doesn’t carry over.

As for the items you’ve collected through BG1, most of them will reappear at some point in BG2. In the first few interactions upon Imoen breaking you free, you’re told that your gear has been taken and/or sold off across Amn. And sure enough, that’s how it plays out, other than a few choice items that I end up cheating in (then dock myself some gold pretending that I bought them). Those items I “reclaim” are the Cloak of Balduran, Kiel’s Buckler, and an extra Protection From Magic scroll or three. I may be missing another or two, but you get the idea.

I’ve not played SoD, so I’m not sure how that factors into your situation.
