I'm not sure but think I may have messed up! In order of events:
- Having seen another thread, I thought I'd install the BG tweaks from Gibberlings site, specifically for the XP cap remover in BG1
- I chose the bg2_tweaks file as I have EasyTutu installed.
- I then created a system restore point (just in case)
- As instructed when opening the bg2_tweaks exe file, I installed it to EasyTutu folder
- I then got an error saying "CRC failed in bg2_tweaks....\g3_sfx.ico File is broken
- Having checked, I do have a load of files created in the Easytutu/bg2_tweaks folder
- So, I went back to my restore point and windows then displayed a message saying it couldn't perform the restore because some files couldn't be accessed (it provided a code but not specifics on files - thanks MS).
Basically, I would ideally like the level cap and access to a few of the other BG2 tweaks but would prefer to do without if it creates any problems with EasyTutu version installed.
Sorry for the novel - if you've seen any of my other posts, you'll note that I am a complete novice, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate a step-by-step "idiots" guide.
Thanks.
