Okay. So I tried to install this, and for some strange reason, the game is running like.. Fast forwarded. I have a very high end desktop, to start off with: SSD for windows/games, 16GB ram, GTX 560TI, Intel 3750.

I went so far in trying to fix this as to under clock my processor and ram down to 1.6GHz and 1066 respectively.

I installed the standard patches, even tried with a fresh installation of the game. No luck. Any ideas?

Currently reinstalling the game from the download with Gog, I will post if the results are different.

The game is designed to run at 30 fps, and if it's running at anything else, it will behave strangely. Normally you just set the FPS manually through the config program, but it's possible your graphics card is overriding the settings for some reason. Maybe check your graphics card options and see if it's doing anything strange, like forcing it to run at your monitor refresh rate?
