I can't see why it wouldn't. You would have the full install of The Original Saga on your hard drive and if you own BG2 on cd it should work just fine. Tutu does require i have my copy of ToB in the drive to play. edit [or virtual drive to save on wear and tear]

yeah, the real question is, will the GOG BG2 release work with Tutu without demanding a cd afterwards. Probably not eh?
Turns out that it works beautifully!

And as far as the CD being in the drive goes, I just mounted an ISO. Yeah, it gets away from the beauty of GOG's no DRM, but I'd say it's worth it for the upgrade in graphics.

Since the Easytutu installation requires the discs, my guess is we might have to wait for those industrious little modders behind it to make a component for it.
Well, on the other hand, doing a full install on BG2 does make copies of the discs in your install folder, so maybe...
Doubt it though, but I suspect it'd be a rather easy fix for the easytutu team to solve.
Mind you, writing this at 8am, just before I go hit the hay, so I am not to be held responsible for any foolishness I type.

I can also attest that it works. I bought the GOG BG1 and just put in my ToB disc to play TuTu.

I might also buy BG2+TOB off GOG when/if they come on, I hate putting CDs in drives and I'll support my favorite PC games ever.
If they release BG2+ToB on GOG, I'll buy it - it's worth it to not have to worry about CDs at all, plus support GOG. I won't need to worry about the discs for now, as I have both physical and digital copies; I can test if the GOG version works with Tutu when I need to reinstall.
If someone can help explain how they got their GOG edition of Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 to be compatible with EasyTutu would literally be my new best friend. Whenever I launch the Easytutu installation, EasyTutu can identify the first game (Baldur's Gate 1) easy enough, but when it comes to Baldur's Gate 2 I get an error that states "Unable to locate Baldur's Gate 2 CD2 folder! Cannot continue!"

GOG does not appear to categorize Baldur's Gate's data by the original cd's, or by the game's original directory.
To give an idea what I mean, this is what my Baldurs Gate 2 directory looks like:

(see image below)

As you can see, there are a lack of CD folders. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this, or how to properly organize your Baldur's Gate 2 directory to be compatible with EasyTutu?

Do you have the EasyTutu_ToB.zip version?
Did you browse to your BG2 directory?

This is the GoG version of easytutu here ... it is stable if you use GoG & is what I use.

The older tutu had some issues in the late game which you may or may not run into.
It works.

At this moment, I'm just entering Cloackwood, and have done everything south of the Friendly Arm Inn, except for Firewine and Durlag. I've not encountered a single problem up until now.
@ThaProfessor:

Did you run bg2 at least once before trying the Easytutu install? If not, please do so. If yes, post the contents of your bg2 baldur.ini file - the installer seems to be struggling to parse it properly.

Looking at his/ her screenshot i'd say that an extra patch has been installed... why is there a TOB26498 patch is that screen?

Is this mentioned during install? I don't see it anywhere in your thread discussion or on the mod page.

I have an old tutu install so I don't remember what I did back then, but it would be good to know when helping posters in the future if running bg2 once is required.

9) Run both BG1 and BG2 once, if you've just installed them. This will populate their configuration (baldur.ini) files, which Tutu requires.
To be clear, maybe this is not the cause but it is best practice.
