Hello everyone,
haven't played BG2 in a long time and bought the GOG edition a couple of days ago.
However there seem to be a number of bugs in the game. Characters are not there there where they are supposed to be.
- In the Bridge district, the theatre group did not show up (I already freed Hear Dalis and sent him away, he took the gem).
- I got the task from the temple of Lathander to get the art quest done. However Sir Sarles is not building in the the government district.
- When I freed the DeArnise stronghold, I thought I can dispel magic on the guy on the second floor and wouldn't have to kill him.
Is GOG not selling the latest, patched version of BG2? I installed the latest BG2 patch over the GOG installation, however it didn't correct the error when I re-loaded. I really don't want to restart the whole game anew. Did anybody have similar experiences?
