I have just installed BG 2. I downloaded all the patches that came with it.

My query: do those patches auto-install with the game or do I have to install each patch separately?

If they auto-install will reinstalling them do any harm to the game install?

...Yes, I am a worry wart. :p

You're talking about the enhanced edition (please specify in the future). If you look at the installer version and the patch versions, the installer is v2.3.67.3 and the highest patch version is v.2.3.67.3, so you just need the installer, no patches.
