I was just coming here to say this, they finally updated us a little while ago that GOG will indeed get early access when Steam does. It was definitely up in the air for quite a while, glad they got it sorted.

Rats! Well, I hate that, but thanks for letting me know.
Does anyone know the hour?

From their Tweeter account:

BG3 releases 10am PT Tuesday on Stadia, Steam (Mac/PC), and GoG.

So about 6 hours later.

Engerek01: EA and F2P are 2 totally different concepts. Former states a state of a game that's not finished while the latter declares the game as FREE with possible in-game purchases. There is no turning back from a F2P game.
Not quite true... as demonstrated by Minecraft which was originally F2P, but switch successfully to a paid (with microtransaction) model.

You are right. I was thinking about single-player games. Minecraft is a Massively Multiplayer game as far as I know.
