Playing BG2, SoA, and going thru Watchers Keep - get to level 4, and last group at turn of key is too tough. So I thought of finishing up SoA by going to the Elf city (Suldanessellar) for the final battle.

I understand that I will be able to get back to Watchers Keep when I start ToB - correct? It won't reset or anything??

Also, how does switchover from SoA to ToB work - totaly separate game or ?? transfer characters?

I'm not sure about the Watchers keep, but all of the characters transfer, including party members. It's meant to play as one continuous adventure in that way.

You will be able to revisit WK in ToB after you've done the first quests. Items are safe there, so you can store the quest items for WK there.
