Hi, i am new here. I would like to buy BG 2 but i heared there was some changes to the game and its interface, how serious are they and will they impact on the game that much?

Some changes are annoying but I dont think it will effect a new player too much. There are some nice improvements too so it is not all bad.

The EE versions pisses all over the originals. They made too many changes, and it looks terrible.

I got the game and played for a couple of hours, sure, some interface changes are there but i dont see how it pisses on the originals, the content or text is not changed from the originals and i played them as well back in the day.

New sprites too. Look terrible.

You do know that you can change Character Outlines in the options right

Edit: I just realized you asked what problem people have specifically with the interface, not the game as a whole. +1 derp for me.

From what i understand and see on youtube, it seems that patch 1,3 was a perfect fit then, dont understand why they changed so much then.

Yes. And it doesn't make much difference. The sprites still end up looking like they don't belong with their surroundings\background in the game.
