Hey, I've been trying to install Baldur's Gate I and II and mod it so I can play it as enhanced as possible, and I've installed all of the mods. I'm not sure how to actually play it, however. I've tried just starting Baldur's Gate I, but it still looks exactly the same as when I first played it, and whenever I try to launch Baldur's Gate II, the screen just goes black and then goes back to normal without even playing the game. Am I doing something wrong?

You are undoubtedly doing something wrong, or the game would launch. BGT is not played through BG1 -- once BGT is installed, you can completely forget about BG1 (unless you wish to play vanilla BG1 again). BGT is played via BG2 by selecting 'new game' -- NOT 'new BG2 game!'

First, and most importantly of all, before you install BGT you MUST have a completely virgin BG1 install. That means no fixes, no mods, no tweaks, no DDrawFix... nothing. BGT MUST be installed with vanilla BG1 assets, because it uses these for the installation.

Next, the only popular mods that should be installed before BGT are Ascension, Turnabout and the BG2 Fixpack.

Install BGT next -- must be very early in the install.

Finally, install your other (BGT compatible) mods, following a sensible install order. That link is specifically for TuTu, but it is relevent for BGT as well.

Alright, I'm glad to know that it must have just been a hiccup or something that I've done during installing all these mods. I'll make sure to try out your suggestions. Thank you very much for the assistance!
