Hi, I'm running windows 8.1 64 Bit and the game is not in program files, but I still get a Tales of the Sword Coast Not working" message whenever I try to start a new game. Help?

Are you trying to start a new multiplayer game? If so, switch to windowed mode (ALT+ENTER) until the game starts proper, then switch back.
