(I'm using Sarevok's Diary Corrections from BG1NPC, and skipped the one in UB, as the former is more extensive, according to the readme's.)

If this playthrough goes well (cross fingers), then this will become my stable BG1 setup and it'll probably never change again. I might actually just backup the current installation folder so I don't ever need to re-install.
Hello again.

Before you invest a ton of time, I'd suggest warping to the previous problem area via console and spending a few minutes there evaluating performance and stability. If you experience the same issues, I'd be interested in hearing whether they persist in that area even with a clean Easytutu installation.

A little bit of controlled experimentation along these lines might reveal to you whether you're contending with a mod problem or an issue with the engine itself. (Of course, I'd much rather hear that you can't seem to reproduce the previous problems no matter what you try.)
Thanks for your reaction.

I've enabled the console, and tried to move to Cloakwood 1. DudleyVille says it's AR2200:

http://www.forgottenwars.com/bg1/ar2200.htm

However, I end up in the middle of the Underdark.

1. Are the BG2 area's not removed from EasyTuTu, and if so, why not?
2. Scrap this question. Found the area codes. http://www.baldursgatemods.com/forums/index.php?topic=7810.0

I think I'm going to create a "special" save, and set my XP using the console, and give myself some weapons using ShadowKeeper. (Is this safe to use with EasyTutu?) Then I'll test Cloakwood 1-4 using my current mod install.

I'm interested to know why the BG2 area's still seem to be in EasyTuTu.

No, they are not, because you are playing in the BG2 engine.

Here's a better list (format-wise):
BG1:TotS Area Files List
Then why did I end up in a BG2 area, when I incidentally put in AR2200 (assuming that the EasyTuTu area's were the same as the BG1 ones)?

If the BG2 area's were removed, I wouldn't end up in the Underdark...

Because you input a BG2 area code (AR2200 == Ust Natha) in a TuTu game. All TuTu codes are prefixed with FW, not AR.

I understand that.

What I mean is: Why are the BG2 area's still in there? At least, it seems so. If they weren't, I'd expect a "This area does not exist" message.

I have already told you: because you are playing in the BG2 engine. The BG2 codes cannot be erased.

OK, thanks :) That explaines it then.

I'm now heading for Nashkel. After picking up Kivan, Minsc, Dynaheir and Branwen (and offloading Khalid and Jaheira) I'll make a test-save, bump my XP to around level 6 or so using the console, and then I'm going to transport to Cloakwood to see if I can finish those four area's. I'll get back with some more info for MacReady.

Yes ShadowKeeper works fine with (any) tutu installed... so does NI (near infinity) for that matter.

Any progress? I'm having performance problems with a similar setup, only after installing 1PP tho.
In case it helps anyone else, my performance problems with 1PP were fixed by biffing.

Edit: Yay I can post links now ^^
