Is anyone following this story? This lawsuit is still unresolved and there are many details still to come out, but it appears that after the SJWs went after WotC earlier this year, WotC clumsily attempted to scuttle a publishing contract for a new Dragonlance series they had with Wies and Hickman in an attempt to avoid further fallout (and to try to save own their soy-saturated hides).
I bring this up because Larian had to get a license from WotC in order to make BG III, and that a purchase of BG III is agreeing to financially support such an untrustworthy company. As I said in an earlier post, I will not be purchasing BG III (or anything connected to WotC ever again), and that Larian may really want to reconsider their relationship with a company that deals with its partners in such an underhanded fashion.
