So Telltale is releasing an upgraded version of BTTF the game https://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/99951/bob-gale-confirmed-tom-wilson-for-bttf-30th-anniversary-and-enhanced-graphics Will we be seeing an upgrade to our games here?
I certainly hope so, if for no other reason than to hear Tom Wilson reprising his role as Biff. Knowing what happened with LeChuck's voice for Tales of Monkey Island when they did the physical release, though, I'm not very optimistic about it.
There will be no PC version, because it's for the consoles only. This edition updates the game to the current generation consoles.

Can you tell me more about it?

Basically, when the first episode of ToMI was released, they didn't have the budget necessary to hire Earl Boen to reprise his role as LeChuck for the opening. By the time the later episodes came around where he plays an important role in the story, they had gotten enough sales to warrant his hiring. They later had him re-record LeChuck's lines in the opening scene of ToMI episode 1, but the only version of the game that's gotten this improvement is the physical PC release, which is pretty much impossible to find unless you were lucky enough to get a copy in Europe.

The odd part is that they promised to update also the download version, but they never did.

Personally I have pre-order bonus Collector's DVD copy of the Tales, so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who can enjoy Earl Boen's voice acting in Episode 1. Some googling tells me that regular DVD version is indeed available in some European stores, but most places have already sold it out.

Gee, guys, I didn't know about that.
Thanks for the background info.
It's really a shame, though, and as a gamer, I share your pain.
Won't be surprising if they don't, Telltale are scumbags these days.
I was lucky enough to get a few retail copies because I'm weird like that lol
Also the 30th anniversary edition has better audio

It kind of stinks that Telltale didn't release this to PC/GOG users. I'd love to hear the "real" Biff.
