Haggis63: Yes the Game.exe of B17 isn't closing after finishing the game.

Nah, you can't waste money on B-17, it's a classic! I used to be a member of Bombs-Away.net,SimHQ and CombatSim.com when it came out and we actively shared skins and edited everything from putting badges and nose art on crew jackets to putting your own signature on the 'signing off' book.

don't know if any of the links are still live, but have a look
I was also there when Wayward pulled the MP and then released the game with pron in it! Lol, you couldn't make it up. When it was being compiled the guy had left all this crap on his PC from 'lunch time' extra curricular 'activities'. You could see all the web links and .jpg descriptions. ####bottle.jpg
Back then though it wouldn't run on *any* PC without stuttering. It took a dozen years for hardware to 'iron out' the code Lol!
I'm a 'older' gamer, too. 27years on PC.
Thank good ness for GoG, otherwise we wouldn't have any old games running, unless we kept old legacy machines -wait.. i've still got my PII-400, 1 GB Quantum Fireball HDD, Matrox Mystique 2mb on pass-thru to Voodoo 2 12mb and tons of oldies on that from PAW,Longbow gold, DI,DID,Microprose M1 etc, etc.
Excuse me, need to light my pipe!
