I have the B17patch.exe and B17Patch2.0.zip which are, I believe, original releases from Microprose.

I keep getting the message: "B17 The Mighty Eighth is not installed on this machine. Setup will exit now."

I have installed the game to I:\Program Files (x86)\B17

What is the solution please?

The GOG version is (or should be) already patched so no need to patch it.

ataribaby: Yeah probably Beery's R&R 5 or Beery's R&R 4 dunno now. It was eons ago. OMF utility dosent work on modern OS. You can use virtual PC win 98 trick i described,
OMF works as intended on win 7 flawless! Works as intended you just need the required .dll files!

I changed my game a few days ago with this omf utility so i just confirm it works!

Thought I would bump this thread as there are quite a few skins for the fighters (P51/P47/Bf109 etc) that I cannot find anywhere so if anyone has them it would be greatly appreciated as they are broken with wayback machine (I tried)

Also the multitude of available bomber skins mentioned earlier has a broken link.

I have all available mods for crew/interors etc. so my plan is to try and collect all the available skins mods and then make them permanently available on google drive for everyone on a new thread here! :)
