Perhaps other GOG games do this as well, but this is the first time I noticed: after starting B-17 a GAME.EXE with a small GOG icon appears in the system tray and remains there afterwards. Just curious what this does and if it should not close itself on game exit?

Same thing happens to me. game.exe is just the game when you run the desktop icon it launches B17setup.exe which in turn launches game.exe. Seems as though even after you quit the the icon can still be present. Maybe just an older game quirk. I have noticed if I alt tab out of the menu the game will crash after a few minutes, but if I stay in the game or alt tab back within a short time it has been very stable and I have run 4 long missions without a crash.

It's really curious, I've been playing this game for a while now and I haven't noticed this problem at all. I'm also running Windows 7 64-bit. I'll check again later and post my findings.

Edit: This icon is there, after all. Funny that I've never noticed it. It seems to be some sort of hotkeys-related app, but it has zero effect on system functionality and vanishes on restart. Anyone have any idea what it is?
