Is there any way I can import my characters into a new game? Same statistics, just restart.

I really can't understand why you would put a questgiving NPC at the very beginning of the game in an easily killable position in a situation deliberately set up to kill people.

Edit: Is there anything in this character editor thing to reset a character?

Double Edit: "Reset Hostile Towns" helps a lot.

If you are playing Avernum 1-3, remember to watch how close you get to the save key. As you can save virtually anywhere, its very easy to get into a spot where you press save on accident only to lose alot of progress and or the whole game.

Make multiple save files and be careful.

If Blades of Avernum, use character editor

It's not that easy to press ctrl + s by accident... :P

btw there is always a warning when you are trying to attack a neutral or friendly character... I never killed anybody by accident, not even close...

There's a fight in the town at the beginning of Avernum 2 that has the potential to kill off a few NPCs. It was frustrating, but the Character Editor ended up helping.

Oh, I see. I consider this a warning next time I will play Av2 :D
