Last night I completed the Empire Portal destruction major quest in Avernum 2: Crystal Souls, but two of the preliminary sub-quests are still active in my quest list: "Find Location of Portal" and "The Empire Archives".
Mahdavi's subsequent dialogue after achieving the relevant objectives allowed me to progress in the game and complete the major quest, but it's odd that those two quests weren't set to completed.
Any ideas? Did I do something in the "wrong" order? Did I miss something? Is it a bug?
