Don't know for "250 GTS", but I've played on "GTX 650" wit 1GiB of VRAM quite fine (with settings turned to "Fantastic"). A reduction in quality will probably do the trick.

Of course, if your GPU is integrated one and shares RAM with CPU, then this might be a problem.
