Hi players,

After taking half of my "useless" items with me to Dead City to show them to fortune teller located in underground station of Stalkers Base I had luck with just 3. While one of those she refused to buy, advising me to seek historian, second had not too much value for her, but she took it anyway. The third item had huge impact on her, and still she is interested in buying more. I'm not sure if this is simply not quest giving NPC, and merely merchant who will buy your "useless mysterious items" or there is more things you can bring to trigger some sort of quest. See attached file for the names of the items (so I won't spoil), and let me know if you manage to sell her anything else.

I was only able to get the same as you - three items she considered, and only bought two of them. I was wondering if there's some response you can give so she buys the other item, but apparently not?

I brought some other items with me too, including 2 pine cones (so I guess they really are "just pine cones"), and the toy rifle. None of those triggered anything with her.

Aside note: by the time I ended up in the Dead City I was already loaded with cash, so didn't really need any more anyway. Next time through I might have to go there earlier so the quests there feel more "worth it" from a money perspective. At least most of them were still interesting to do, including (potentially) the toughest fight in the game.
