We are proud to annonce the release of the PUBLIC VERSION for Atlantis The Lost Tales EXTENDED'S CUT EDITION !
It's now support EVERY LANGUAGES supported and ALSO unsupported languages
on the GOG Store. (English/French/Deutsch/Spanish/Italian/Dutch/Swedish/Polish).

This new version is a patch/update for the GOG Release.
You NEED to buy/own a copy of Atlantis from GOG Store in order to use the Extended's Cut Edition.

This new version, fix every bugs you can encounter on the GOG Release :

- Fix game too slow or too fast => now gameplay is smooth at 30fps (normal speed)
- Fix every hangs/freeze of the game => now everybody should enjoy the game without any problem
- Fix slow mini games => now mini games runs as normal !
- Fix every characters models => now no graphical bugs/glitches !
- Fix Boar (Ring/Blood) bug => now both can be taken at the same time !
- Fix every CD Swap errors => now no more return to windows when you go to the hangar

BUT also the Extended's Cut add lot of new content on the game :

- 30 new dialogues made by Cryo Interactive (included in the files but never used in the game before)
- 3 new cinematics (included in the files but never used in the game before)
- Muria's Music now used in Muria Area ! (Was made by Pierre Estève but never used by Cryo)
- VISIT MODE : Watch all cinematics of the game (LIKE PS1/SATURN versions !), listen to all musics of the game,
visit hidden area (Creon's secret room, stone cercle, flyer of the beginning of the game...) and of course free visit of all area of the game (all are linked, like Versailles, Egypt and others games from Cryo).

[0] First Reinstall Atlantis The Lost Tales from GOG Galaxy or Offline Installer
[1] Download the lastest version of "EXTENDED CUT UPDATER V1.2.1 PUBLIC VERSION"
[2] Unzip AtlantisExtendedCutUpdaterForGOG.ZIP
[3] Launch AtlantisExtendedCutUpdaterForGOG.exe (run it as Administrator !)
[4] You can see the current directory of the game (Normally you don't need to change it)
[5] Delete all your saves, just click on "Delete all save files"
[6] Choose the language of your game (should be auto-detected).
(Except for Dutch, Swedish and Polish => you need to choose the language from the list)
[7] Click on "Update to Extended's Cut Edition"
[8] Launch the game from the updater or with GOG Galaxy or desktop's shortcut or Atlantis.exe

Note: Only launch one time the updater, when it's patched, just start the game normally.

FIX FOR MISSING SOUNDS ON MINI GAMES (OPTIONNAL) :

[0] Only do that one time ! Once it's done you should not have to do this again. (Only if a new version of this package comes)
[1] Make sure that you have already followed the instructions above to install Extended Cut.

[3] Simply copy the ATLANTISWAVFIXA.BIG file to the install directory of the game (where ATLANTIS.EXE is)
[4] Start AtlantisPackageInstallforGOG.exe (Atlantis Package Installer)
[5] Load the .BIG Package, choose "Full Installation" and click "INSTALL".

Yes of course, We will support all languages supported by GOG Galaxy for the final release on March 2019.

For people who just want to try without waiting until March 2019, we have released a "Public Test Version".

This Test version is in english to have a lot of feedbacks before the release on March 2019.

It will works on others languages but you will get english subtitles and all text in english for now.

That's why i said "English Only".

Note: Test Version means all features are present, stable but still need a lot of tests :)

Very nice, thank you. I've never played this game before, so this should be a good time to start.

One thing, I've had to "force compatibility" from the setup, otherwise the game would crash at the start. Any reason why it's not enabled by default? Are there any downsides to it?

About the "Force Compatibility" it's indeed for all setups who get a freeze when starting the game or during the gameplay.

It's not activated by default because most of testers (including me) have better performances on the game without.

But not all PC Setups can make the game works without.

If a PC is not compatible without "Force Compatibility" you will not see any differences than PC compatible.

But if the PC is compatible without "Force Compatibility" you will see some inattentionnal additionnals slowdown on the gameplay.

It's depends of your CPU/GPU (for example: all PC Laptops are not compatible without "Force Compatibility")
But in most cases PC desktops are compatible if you have a good CPU/GPU.

But if we got more people who need to check "Force Compatibility", i will make this option as checked by default.

In most cases i recommand checking "force compatibility" then click on "Update to Extended's Cut" to validate.

Also don't hesitate to post others feadbacks when you go further in the game !
It will be very helpful for us.

About the VISIT MODE :

Don't forget to UNLOCK VISIT MODE (Cutscenes Player, Musics Player, Hidden Area to Visit and Free visit of all the maps) :

1) Finish the game,

2) Load your profile (should load the last chapter),

3) Use your power hand on the crystal on the ground,

4) Capture the beast

5) After the endings, you will unlock the Visit Mode !

About the difficulty options:

"I never played Atlantis The Lost Tales before" = normal game mode
"I already played Atlantis The Lost Tales a lot" = hard game mode

The differencies are in the Library and Carbonek Forest Escape with Rhea Chapters.
In hard mode theses 2 chapters are harder to resolve (paths to take are totally different)

Juste installed it and it works ! A huge thank you for your work !

On my PC, the "Force Compatibility" crash the game when Cryo logo appears. But without Force compatibility, everything runs fine !

Nice Patch , thank you for this , but i got a question,
i have some weird graphic glitches, (only in the cutscenes)
Like Garbled graphics split in columns. Can someone help me ( got these graphic glitches before the patch as well )

NOTES about "Advanced Settings":
-----------------------------------

"Advanced Settings" will force the game in an advanced compatibility mode in order to support some problematics PC Setups.

It now also add the support of Windowed Mode, Resolution Selection and FPS settings (thanks to DxWnD libraries) (only for Advanced Settings)

If the game runs without any freezes/hangs, you can uncheck "Advanced Settings" (now no changes with ou without for a computer compatible).

In opposite, if you HAVE freezes/hangs during the gameplay or when when starting the game, please check the "Advanced Settings", you will not have any differences than all PC compatible without.

NautilusLP, can you give us informations about your PC's setup ?

Are you sure you use my Extended's Cut Patcher ?

Because my patch won't force any Windows Compatibility mode.
So no Windows 98 compatibility mode forced on the newer Updates (V1.0 R1003).

GOG use this trick to support some users but the game render is slow and unstable (all is software in my version).
