Just a simple question - you mentioned earlier in this thread that there are patches for Atlantis 2, Atlantis 3 and Atlantis Evolution. But what about The Secrets of Atlantis (Atlantis 5)? Maybe it will work as is, since it's the most recent game. As far as I know, not many Atlantis fans actually know that there is an Atlantis 5 :)
Main goal is to support very soon Atlantis 2 & Atlantis 3.
Maintly because i have unreleased (or not used on GOG) content (musics, modes) to implement on theses 2 games.
"HD" Textures for Atlantis 3 (who is not supported by GOG version).
Unreleased Visit Mode on Atlantis 2. Unreleased Movie Mode on Atlantis 3 normal version.
And unreleased music for Atlantis 3 (Bagdad Area).
And also unsupported GOG languages (Swedish & russian)
(from people who own original versions in theses languages).
And finally, of course also some few littles fixes over the GOG already made.

Lot of people asked me to make a better UI also (more close to GOG installers).
So first step was to work on that first. I will implement the new UI in Atlantis Extended Cut in the incoming V1.3.

For Atlantis 4, all i have (right now) is some unused code for Chapters and some unused props (but not infos for what they meant to be used). So it need more research ot really add something interesting on Atlantis 4.
I got Russian language from someone on my followers but it will be used only for texts (voices dubbling is really bad).

For Atlantis 5, i have no plans on support it. I have no contact with developpers of the original game. No unreleased files and not studied the code too.

Hello
I have the original "Atlantis The lost tales" DVDs from CRYO, but it wouldn't install on my 64 bits WIN 10
error message : "CAUTION! Insufficient space to copy the files to the hard disk. Please select another drive or make room." - misleading message since I have plenty of space on disk.
I also tried compatibility mode "Windows XP service pack 3", unsuccessfully.
What can I do?

I found one error in the Polish version related to the dialogue. At the very beginning of the game, when we first enter the bar "The Scarlet Cockerel Tavern", and then quickly leave it, which we call game over, the first time the Polish narrator's dialogue is played ("Brak szczęścia, a może zła ocena sytuacji?"), But the second time the English language dialogue is played. Can you correct this oversight?

Somebody knows where are the savegame files of the extended cut's edition of Atlantis The Lost Tales?

Can one bug be fixed? It's all about Alt + F4. After pressing it, the window with the game closes, but the music from the game continues to play and in order to close the game you have to close the process with the game in the Task Manager

Regarding the error with English dialogue, today I discovered its source. In the retail version (Polish, of course), when we do exactly the same (i.e. enter the bar, then leave it quickly), the first time is the "Brak szczęścia?" Dialogue, and the second time the game will throw an error message regarding the lack of a file. So it looks like a distributor's mistake

first of thank you for the Extended Cut..
But sadly it didn't fix my problems in the video sequences and movement. In these parts the video/movement stutters and feels dealigned. While comparing to your YouTube video it seems that it's also slower.
Can you help me with this? I tried many solutions on the forum without any improvement. The Extended Cut was my last hope

When you launch Atlantis The Lost Tales Launcher can you go to "Settings" and select "Windowed FullScreen".
If your PC setup is compatible it will render the game very smooth at 30fps (the original speed) without the slowndown caused by the compatibility mode used by default. But warning if your setup is not fully compatible game can be unstable and crash randomly. This state is fully handled and fixed by the default compatibility mode "Full Screen" but with one major issue who is the videos who are slower than normal. Apart from that everything else is fine.

The slowdown of videos is a part of fixes to prevent game crashing on many setups. But some setups don't need this fix to have a stable game. So the best mode for theses setups is "Windowed FullScreen".
I wanted to fully fix this problem by rewriting the rendering engire of the game who use clock speed of CPU. But for that i need the original sources code. I tried to ask some old devs of Cryo, but for the moment with no luck. So this fix is the best we can have for now.

A new update is coming soon to fix few bugs people reported to me over theses months. Though release is delayed to the lack of time i have theses months badly but it's still in work. Like the Atlantis 2 & 3 Extended Project who are still in progress.

thanks for your answer. I tired it and it seems to work work now. No more stuttering videos and no more slow videos. Thank you.
The only thing I've encounter now is very speed up people animation. But that's a thing i can live with

Is there a savegame available for download of the extended version? i want to install the patch, without losing progress in the game, also if the patch dont work correctly how can i re use my save games?

legluondunet: Very interesting update. It's a pity it doesn't support Linux, natively or with Wine.
I wouldn't bet mono is good enough to support it, but dotnet45 or newer should work.
(speaking of which, it's kind of a pity this also meant cutting off support for windows XP)

Wine has far better dotnet support today. I can install dotnet 4.0 and 4.8 with success with last wine version (5.20 and superior).
It's time for a new test.
But to my point of view, the ideal solution for this upgrade would be ScummVM compatibility/implementation.
When Atlantis: The lost tales will be supported by ScummVM.

Hi, can Tgames or anyone else help me with pic related?
Additional info:
* Tried both V1.1 & V1.0-R1011.
* I am on windows 10
* the game runs as you'd expect without the patch
* it is installed under C:\games\...
* so far I tried run as admin & installing directly from admin account.

edit:
**FIXED**
turns out the installer needs debug privileges.
if anyone has similar issues AND is using GPO,
make sure the following privilege is assigned to the group 'Administrators':
Computer Config\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment\Debug Programs
