I can get it for like $10 at Walmart.
For me at least AC is $20 on steam. Last I checked the wallmarts around here dont carry that game anymore. I don't think its overpriced + its on sale for 10 really when you buy it in the bundle.

Steam lists it as AUD $20 for me (Australian). I've never seen it in stores for less than $20 on PC either. If you don't already own it, don't forget you can get Heroes of Might & Magic 5 with it for free until 12 April. It certainly sweetens the deal:

I agree that the game is too expensive!

Bought it one year ago at a shop like Walmart in Germany and paid 10€ for it. This should be a $9.99 game for now.

Assassins Creed DC in german shops:

Is the game on Steam or in store DRM-free?

That changes everything. I'm willing to pay more for a DRM-free game.

Don't forget you get the OST.

I agree, though it would be nice to not be punished for wanting the best experience.
Maybe you saw it at that price on Xbox. Was it really PC that you saw?

Indeed. With most recent games, the AC series included, selling their soundtracks separately, the soundtrack becomes a fairly hefty bonus.

So, if the soundtrack is something you want and don't have, then compared to buying game & MP3s individually through other services it isn't that much more expensive. Still more than you'd pay by waiting for a Steam sale + getting the soundtrack off Amazon, but only about $5 more.

I'm currently in wait-for-a-sale mode, myself, as I already bit on this series in DRMed form and the first is certainly the worst of the series (though hardly bad). But I'm glad to see it on GoG, and if Ubisoft shows they're serious about bringing the whole AC series to GoG, I'll definitely buy them all on here at some point or another.
