I was playing the original Assassin's Creed updated to 1.02 version and everything was great.
Then GOG released the Director's Cut version and wanted to give it a shot.

There is an issue however with the GOG version. When the game begins and I go to Masyaf for the first time I notice something weird when I talk to Al Mualim. Normally his beard was bushy, but when I play it looks like a plain texture. I tried changing some settings withing the game but nothing changes.
I remember seeing something similar to Black & White 2. The animal's fur was gone like it was shaved or something.

Also when I complete a mission and I get to return to the animus everything goes bright leaving a brief trail of the surrounding environment.
Now with the GOG version everything just goes bright, no trails.

Maybe all this sounds insignificant but I was wondering why does it do that.
Is there a setting in the graphic's card to fix that?

From a brief google search I found out that I have a problem because blooming was turned off. If that' the problem how do I turn it back on.
There is no Bloom selection in the Nvidia settings. Is PhysX responsible for it?

I don't think the problem is about GPU overheating. When I had an overheating issue the laptop suddenly shutdown on it's own. I'don't have that right now.
The graphics seem fine but I don't have blooming (if that fixes the problem of course).

The only version that was released for PC was the Director's Cut. I believe there's an .ini file in the game's directory where you are able to do that.
