Every time I load my game my character immediately dies and the sound effect "I must eat" or "I am hungry" plays. I even tried starting a fresh new game, saving, and then loading that save and the same thing happens.

I'm using Arx Libertatis, I think the newest unstable version for Windows. If this issue persists I might just wipe my install and start over, but I was wondering if anybody else has encountered this before.
Could you please upload an affected save or attach it to the bug report (if it was you who filed it)? I couldn't reproduce the issue myself.

This is the issue that I filed, how do I attach a save?

https://bugs.arx-libertatis.org/arx/issues/869

Somehow I do not believe it is the saves themselves since this is affecting any new save that I make. Will try to experiment more if I can.

EDIT: I've signed up for the bug tracker and uploaded the save files.

I can reproduce the issue through your saves. It looks like the snapshot 1.2-dev-2016-06-26 works, so I suggest that you try that one for now.

Can confirm that snapshot 1.2-dev-2016-06-26 loads correctly, thank you!
You should no longer die using the 1.2-dev-2016-07-26 development snapshots - thanks for the report and many thanks to bsxf47 for tracking down and fixing the bug.
