I know there is another thread about the crypt puzzle, but my problem is not with the solving process. It's with the runes. You see, this is the second time I have tried to play this game. It is also the second time I have gotten stuck on this part because I can't find that sixth stone. It's kind of annoying, but I'm sure there is some solution.

Can anybody offer some help? Are the runes even in the same locations every time, or is their placement random? None of the walkthroughs I've seen have been helpful in this regard.

Also: I can't seem to open all the doors in the second level of the crypt. Are there keys for these, or can they only be opened through the use of lockpicks?

The runes are always in the same locations. The extremely thorough RPGdot Unofficial Guide has the locations both in the walkthrough and listed in their annotated level maps:

If you have trouble finding something listed in the guide (or for the very few things it may be missing), you can probably find a demo of it being done in LythaJuliania's (also very thorough, as well as entertaining) Let's Play on YouTube . . . this one would take a lot of watching though, since they're all over the crypt and that encompasses 14 videos starting with #54:
