Not patched to the 'official' 1.19 patch. Patched to the 'special' G.O.G. 1.19 patch, as this latest patch has not been made available to original owners of this game and therefore cannot be an 'official 1.19 patch' in any way. So if you don't own this game, buy it here for a working copy. If you already own it, then you will hav to play the buggy version until Arkane and/or G.O.G. release this 1.19 patch to the public and make if truly an 'official 1.19 patch'!

Post on Arkane's website 18th May 2009: Put's everything to rest and leaves a shame on everyone who flamed me and a shame on GOG.com.

And what's your point? Arkane made the patch, if they can't find the resources to provide a general release, then shame on them. Do you expect GOG to release this patch? They are a distributor of games, not The Patches Scroll.
All sorts of distributors make exclusive deals with companies they distribute for. If someone wants to fix the version of Arx Fatalis they sell, they could work out the same deal as GOG made. Otherwise go get some cheese for your whine.
