Installed UAP with the latest version of Arcanum and it seems like there is a compatibility issue between the two. Issues included graphics problems, random crashing, and combat turns never ending. After I uninstalled UAP and Arcanum and just reinstalled Arcanum everything was working fine, including the saved game I was previously playing.

Is anyone else having issues with UAP and this version? Anyone happen to know if these symptoms are the common directdraw issue with the game? Currently I do not know if the issue is with ddraw or compatibility between this latest GOG version and UAP. I would definitely like to hear from other users on what they have found when it comes to this issue.

One more possibility is that UAP and GOG having preinstalled the high res patch might be causing conflicts. Right now I am back to running the game vanilla until some light is shed on the issues at hand.

I am running Win7 64 btw.
GOG does not have the HighRes patch preinstalled, not in the backup installer version at least.

I did try running with only UAP installed and there were some glitches (did not test extensively), but after installing the HighRes patch everything seems fine.

Guess I will have to try installing UAP as well as the high res patch then. Hopefully that will fix things. Thanks for the info.
