Not a problem quest-wise. Already done the quest, found Quintarra and all that.

From an RPG standpoint, what to do with the little guy?

I feel bad keeping the poor thing in the cage. Is there anyone you can give it to? Set it free? Maybe a loving home to leave at the front door? But whose? Can't just be anybody, has to be some people you know who can provide care.

Or maybe take it along for the adventure? Sail the high seas, delve the deepest mines, wander forbidden forests. If only the cage was not so drab.

Or perhaps go on a quest of vengeance on its behalf, hunting down the perpetrator who painted it blue.

What to name it?

What to do, what to do.

Sell it. You can get 8-9 gold from any shopkeeper, if you have expertise in Haggle. Otherwise, you can get around 4 gold from a junk dealer, including Ristezze in the first town.

Or store it. It'll last forever in storage, if you choose to go that route. Presumably, the game assumes you're feeding it; there's no mechanic for it to die in captivity.

Or bin it. Someone will come along and take it, and you can pretend that they gave it a good, loving home.

Or dump it outside Hippington's door. Serves him right, the fraud.
