I have a slight problem... I found the Bangellion Scourge in the Bangellion Deep while exploring the north of the Snakemen camp earlier in my game and now I just met Stringy Pete who is asking me to destroy it so I can get his boat and I can't find it anywhere anymore...

Is there a cheat code to get the item or some way to find it without exploring the whole map?

If you left it in the Bangellian Deeps, it will still be there. (You're supposed to toss it in the furnace, in the back of the cave where you found it, to fulfill Stringy Pete's quest.)

If you sold it to a shopkeeper, they'll still have it; they never sell away any hexed items you bring them.

Otherwise, you're probably out of luck. Kill Pete and his undead crew, and take his boat for yourself. (This would be your option anyway, if you were planning to keep the Scourge for yourself.)

Alternately, you could just buy a boat in Black Root, or face the gambling master in the tavern there until you've beaten him enough to win one. (You'll need at least 4 ranks in Gambling, IIRC, for this to become an option.)
