Hey, i just started my journey and didnt even mind about the low resolution but i kinda was missing a pause button since i happen to missclick in the battles and it gets kinda hectic which is nothing i really need in a CRPG.
Anyway, looking for a pause button-patch brought me to the UAP but since that is only for the english version i'd rather stick to the original game than the UAP-Patch.
So my question simply is, is there a "universal" HD-Patch and/or a way to implement a pause button?

There are two types of combat, real time and by action point. You can change between the two types of combat by hitting the space bar. I always found the frantic real time combat to be completely unmanageable.

For some reason it didnt rly change the battle settings when i first found that option so i just dismissed it, trying it again it pretty much solves my problem with the missing pause button.
Thx
Real-time combat mode has been added willy-nilly in the last moment before releasing the game, because some big cheese demanded it. Turn-based combat is the way the game was designed to be used with.

BTW - playing without UAP might be, well, frustrating experience, as there are a lot of bugs in the original version of the game. I'd play vanilla only for historical reasons - if I had to describe all of the original quirks and bugs, for example.

If you're willing to accept the fact that you won't be able to finish some quests, possibly even the main quest, suit yourself. :)
