I've been trying to troubleshoot for the past 4 hours. Have tried the unofficial patch, different ddraw.dlls, xp compatibility, administrator priveleges for all installations, and tried it vanilla as well. No matter what my computer freezes entirely. Forced to reset.

I have looked around and doesn't seem like anyone is having this issue. Has anyone come across this before, or happens to know what my problem is?

Someone apparently did, however it's highly unusual.
Is Arcanum the only game that freezes your PC? Have you read your system's log in search for any error?

As a general rule, you should provide more information about your system (hardware, OS, etc.) in order to get help.
